Pearson Test of English:
The Pearson Test of English (PTE) is an English language test that is designed to assess the levels of English of non-native English speaking individuals in order to be able to participate in any University level English language instruction programme. The test was designed by Pearson Language Tests which is a product of the Pearson PLC group. The test is a computer based exam which aims the focus towards real-life English that would be used within academic surroundings. This is put in place to make sure that integrated language is used throughout the exam and the participating student will then listen to a variety of accents, dialect and academic languages that they will encounter at English speaking universities and higher education institutions.
